Traverse Homes is a custom design/build firm that has been building in the Grand Traverse region for over 35 years. The owner, Henry Ramsby, started out in construction when he was 18 years old and was taught the finesse of building by old world artisans.
 

Henry soon knew that building was going to be his career and at the age of 26 he started his own construction business with the firm belief he could design and build more efficient and energy conscious homes. Through his career, Henry continued schooling in architectural design, engineering, energy efficiency, and interior lay-out, perfecting his unique approach to building design and construction. To date, Traverse Homes has received many awards and honors in the industry, has become a Certified Green Builder, and has won the area's prestigious Simply the Best Builder award 2 years in a row.
